Lifeline, Critical Response Team
Lifeline is an innovative initiative that partners with hospitals, crisis intervention units, and medical providers to support individuals and families affected by addiction.
This program connects patients who have experienced an opiate overdose, are at high risk for overdose, or are struggling with addiction or alcohol-related issues to Peer-to-Peer Recovery Support Coaches—available 12/6/365.
How Lifeline works
- Immediate Response, Recovery coaches connect with patients within 60 minutes of being called.
- Personalized Coaching, Coaches meet with patients to explore their options for treatment, detox, recovery housing, recovery centers, ongoing coaching, and community meeting sites.
- Follow-Up Support, Coaches offer continued services, scheduling a follow-up check-in the next day.
- Ongoing Care, peers who choose to continue are enrolled in ongoing support services and are followed throughout the year.
Navigate LIFELINE provides survivors with the vital support and resources they need to rebuild their lives and sustain recovery.
